Introduction:
The main functionality of the level editor is implemented and works completely.
The level editor is still being developed. This means that you can write to us if you need additional features we will try to implement them in a short time.

This guide will be updated in a timely manner with the release of the level editor updates.

This guide describes the features of the level editor as well as the basics of creating a map and publishing to Worokshop.

First, open the Level Editor.
In the main menu, click the "Level Editor " button.

After loading you will see such a picture.

On the left you can see the main window of the level editor let's analyze the tabs that you can select.
Above this window you can select tabs let's look at each.
Main information:
Input:
W - forward.
S - backward.
A - left.
D - right.

Q - down.
E - up.

LEFT SHIFT - speed up.
LEFT CTRL - speed down.

MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL - unselect object.

LEFT MOUSE BUTTON - select object.
PRESS RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON - camera rotate.

PRESS TAB - hide interface.

DELETE - delete selected object.

CTRL+C - copy selected object.
CTRL+V - past copied object.

CTRL-Z - Undo the last action with the object. (Restore settings object has not yet been implemented)
CTRL-Y - Redo the last undone.

Playing on the map:
You play on the map from the Level Editor.
The button will be unavailable if either of the following conditions:
  1. On the map there is a hole for which there is no ball spawn point (for example hole 18 is on the map, but there is no ball spawn point for hole 18).
  2. On the map there is a ball spawn point, but no hole for it (for example, there is a ball spawn point for hole 18, but no hole 18).
  3. On the map there are no holes.
  4. On the map there is no ball spawn point.
Save and load tab:
In the screenshot you can see save and load tab.
In this tab you can save, load, delete saved maps.

NEW MAP
If you click on the button "NEW MAP" You will need to press "YES" in the opened window. This is done so that you do not accidentally delete the unsaved map that you are currently editing.

LOAD MAP
If you click on the "LOAD MAP" then you will see this window where you can select the map to load.
If you click on "LOAD" will open the chosen map.
If you press the button "DELETE SELECTED" then you will need to confirm the deletion by pressing "YES". Remember the deletion cannot be undone.
If you click on "BACK" you will return back.

SAVE THIS MAP
If you click on "SAVE THIS MAP" then you will see this window where you can specify the name of the map.

You can also select an existing map and remove it by pressing the button "DELETE SELECTED" then you will need to confirm the deletion by pressing "YES". Remember the deletion cannot be undone.

If you click on "BACK" you will return back.

Button "SAVE" saves the open map now.
Remember that you will not be able to upload a map to the Steam Workshop in these cases:
  1. The map does not have a camera for previews at the shop (only 1).
  2. The map does not have a camera for the boot screen (only 1).
  3. The map does not have an spectator camera (you can create a lot).
  4. On the map there is a hole for which there is no ball spawn point (for example hole 18 is on the map, but there is no ball spawn point for hole 18).
  5. On the map there is a ball spawn point, but no hole for it (for example, there is a ball spawn point for hole 18, but no hole 18).
  6. On the map there are no holes.
  7. On the map there is no ball spawn point.

If a map with the same name already exists then you will see this window.
If you press "REPLACE" the existing map will be replaced. This cannot be undone.

If you have not fulfilled one of the conditions above, you will see a warning stating that the map is not available for upload to Steam Workshop.
Also you will see a window that map has been saved successfully.
Otherwise, you will see a window with the error.

If the card is saved successfully and all conditions above are met, then you can upload the map to the Steam Workshop. It is described in this guide.
Terrain tab:
In this tab you will find everything associated with the terrain.

CREATION
You can specify the length, width, maximum height. You can select the texture of the terrain. The maximum size of the terrain is the same as the maximum map size is 3000 meters.
First you need to create a terrain. To do this, click on the button "CREATE".

DELETION
In this tab, you can delete the terrain.
Click "DELETE TERRAIN".
Click "YES" in the window that opens.
Remember, this action cannot be undone!

CHANGE THE HEIGHT
In this tab you can edit the height of terrain.
You can change the brush size by using the top slider.
You can change the rate of change of altitude by using the bottom slider.
If you checked the "Raise" the change in height will be up.
If you checked the "Lower" change the height to be down.
You can change the brush.

In this tab you can edit the height to the specified value.
In this tab, you can optionally specify the maximum height.
If you click on the button "Take terrain height" then you should be able to capture the maximum height of a specified position on the terrain.
SMOOTHING HEIGHT

Similarly, you can configure a brush.
The lower checkmark includes directional smoothing mode, which is useful if you need smoothing in one direction.
TERRAIN PAINTING
Similarly, you can configure a brush.
You can add up to 8 textures for painting.
To add texture, click the + beside the list of textures.
TERRAIN GRASS PAINTING
Similarly, you can configure a brush.
You can add up to 8 grasses for painting.
To add grasses, click the + beside the list of textures.

Golf objects tab:
To add an object, press and hold the left mouse button on the desired object in the list and drag it to the map.
Remember to unselect object press Mouse Scroll Wheel.
The left mouse button you can select an object.

This is the object's move window. It appears if you selected an object.

Each digit corresponds to the description in the list below:
  1. Tool for moving the object.
  2. Tool for object rotation.
  3. Tool for resizing an object independently for each axis.
  4. Tool for resizing an object for all axes together.
  5. Copy the selected object, automatically selects the copied object. (You can also use the keys CTRL+C and CTRL+V)
  6. Delete the selected object. (You can also use the key Delete)
  7. Open the materials editor.
  8. Change the tool space (Global or Local).
  9. Set the position manually.
  10. Set the rotation manually.
  11. Set the size manually.
  12. Here you can specify the step of moving.
  13. Here you can specify the step of rotating.

Here there are:
  1. All types of cameras.
  2. Ball spawn point.
  3. Flag without hole.
  4. Play area.

You can customize some objects.
Other objects:
Here you can find all objects for decoration.
Weather tab:
LIGHT
Here you can find light sources.
Remember that the directional light can be only one!

SKYBOX
Here you can select the sky.
Material editor tab:
In the materials editor, you can change the texture of the object, change the color, etc.

To open the materials editor, select the object and click on the button highlighted in red in the screenshot. (For some objects, the material editor is not available so this button may not be available)

This is the main Material Editor window.
In the list on the left you select cell material for editing.
In another list, you can choose the material you want to replace the material in the selected cell.
You can also change the settings of the material.
Note not all material parameters are available for each material.
