I like to slow wallpapers down or turn down colour intensity so when idle on the desktop it doesnt eat my resources and eat my face eyes with blinding distraction of colour and flashy bitz.

So most of these walls will have the ability to tone down, in some way, the crazy speed, particle effects or colours and some of the audio responsives will do NOTHING until music is played, and you will have a simple black screen (which is actually one of my longstanding desktop wall choices, so this also suits me fine)
