Rogues Out Camping (and also the Miniknog)

Beskrivning
You may have gotten quests before that involve murdering a group of hostile NPCs for whatever reason (rescuing someone's friend, payback for some kind of crime, or just overheard them talking about their feelings or something).

Sometimes the hostile NPCs that spawn are enemies you encounter elsewhere in the game (Apex Scientists, Bandits, Cultists, Convicts, Evil Knights...)

Other times... you'll get NPCs that actually don't show up anywhere else outside of these quests. It took me longer than I would like to admit to realize that... and then feeling a little let down.

As a result, I figured... since the bandits and cultists you occasionally encounter in these small camps are "rogue" groups of humans, so to speak, and the quest-exclusive NPCs seem to be the same to their respective races (with one exception), I decided to make this mod, which spawns these NPCs in camps to be encountered much like the cultists and bandits. It should also add a bit more variety as a result.

What this mod does:

Adds new microdungeons to encounterdungeons that spawn the following NPCs

-Avian Raiders

-Rogue Samurai

-Floran Cannibals

-Miniknog Scouts (they're not exactly bandits, but I figured it would make sense for scouts to be out and about relaying info to their superiors)

-Glitch Thieves

-Scavenging Divers* (who also appear in arctic ocean floors, in addition to regular oceans)

October 25, 2018 edit:
This mod also adds a new NPC called Novakid Marauder**, with camps they can spawn in, as well as allowing them to appear as threats in side-quests.

I also took the time to make underground camps as well, because that's apparently a thing that exists. I've never been able to actually find any of them though.

Anyways, if you encounter any issues, feel free to post a message about it. Best case scenario, I have a vague idea of how it can be fixed. Worst case scenario, I actually don't know and so I scream and panic irl and then try to maintain a calm front in my reply.

Camps were made using Tiled.

(Also you might notice Manufacturer's Touch weapon parts in the preview image. I-I don't claim credit for any of that!)

October 25, 2018 EDIT: Originally the Novakids came as an add-on to this mod (due to having to add a new NPC), but as of today, due to a user's suggestion I decided to merge them into this one.

* For these in particular, I had to add new biome placeables to the ocean and arctic ocean floor biomes to get them to spawn. I've had some trouble with this, with either the camps not spawning at all, or spawning too frequently. I've made adjustments to try to fix this, but as of right now, I'm still not sure how "natural" their spawn rates feel.

**If you're wondering why I named them marauders instead of outlaws, it's due to FU already having hostile NPCs called outlaws, so I'm hoping this difference in name prevents any conficts for anyone who's using that mod. I uh, hope nobody minds the name too much though.

Caused by: (SpawnTypeDatabaseException) Duplicate spawnType named 'apexmutant' in config file '/spawntypes/uniques.spawntypes' does this mod use apexmutant???

It's compatible in that it won't cause any crashes or anything. But the camps will only spawn on vanilla biomes though, I believe.
KitsukiKit 24 maj, 2022 @ 21:29
is this fu compatible??
