Sheriff of Nottingham: Merry Men Scripted

Description
NEW 1.2 Scripted Scoring Update on 6/5/20!

Sheriff of Notthingham just got a facelift including the base game and the expansion all being scripted!

Please report any bugs found in the scoring in the "Bug Reports" discussion

The Merry Men expansion adds five new modules to the Sheriff of Nottingham base game. First being the introduction of the 6th player for more intense games of deception. With the inclusion of a 6th player to any game, you adopt the two Deputies instead of the standard Sheriff. To begin you shuffle the six Deputies cards and draw two every round until the deck runs out and needs to be reshuffled. The Deputies both earn loot and place it in their chest to later be distributed evenly. No one ever said they had to work together, at times one might reap all the rewards or losses if the other bails.

The Black Market has much to offer to those who collect many of one type of contraband. There are two Black Market Cards for Silk, Mead, and Pepper. The first one to claim a card AFTER they pass inspection will receive the higher valued corresponding card first.

Laws change up the gameplay in infinite ways. The first Sheriff draws three Laws and enacts two. After the first turn Laws have a "lifespan" of two turns. You replace the furthest right each turn and push the other law in the now empty spot and draw a new law to add.

People need certain items for their leisurely comforts thus the introduction of Special Orders. Four orders are always in play face up, the first to complete an order gains the card for extra gold value. At the end of each round, the orders are replenished back to four.

The wealthy give none to the poor, this is bothersome to the Merry Men and their ideals. The start of the game everyone draws two Merry Men cards which are placed in the Sherwood Forest tile forming their own deck. All players pick one to keep, the other is placed at the bottom of the Merry Men deck. They don't wish to take risks so you can only have one of them in your hand at any given time. The Merry Men are considered as contraband, if you successfully smuggle them they will repay you with a deed. To regain the trust of the vigilantes you must have smuggled a contraband the prior turn before you can draw another Merry Men card.
(Merry Men cards do NOT count as one of the 6 cards in your hand, so your hand can contain 7 cards)

Comes with house-made base game and promo cards, all made with the Sheriff of Nottingham card back for consistency and fairness. (Other decks would have black cards showing to other players while the cards were in your hand)

The rulebook has also been added and can be read by pressing the corresponding number key to change pages.

These are all modules, meaning you can pick and choose how to play!

The scans were done by me.

If you wish to incorporate this into any existing workshop submission I would appreciate credit given where credit is due, thank you.

Hey, I noticed that players accidentally start with an additional $20 coin.

Otherwise, great mod, I really like it! Is there any chance that you'll add the remaining promo cards (Prince of Thieves, Master Smuggler, Royal Pardon, Royal Jewels, and the Pig Promo pack)?

Hello everyone! We have just added a new Scoring System that fixed all of the problems mentioned and some other Nuances that we found to be incorrect. Full notes can be found in the Change Notes tab. Thank you all for you support and information! Keep smuggling Contraband!

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

Hmm I tried rewinding time and it worked fine. Can you check the calculation over the number of players? Maybe after some # it fails

Thank you for the information SvaeJat, I have had another complaint about a scoring error bug. Do you happen to have any theories on how it may be replicated to fix? I have heard from one person that he believes that turning back time might somehow affect the scoring. Can you confirm that as a possibility?

No the game does not include a Scripted set up because with the addition of the expansion. The deck size needs to be changed depending on the amount of players and which if any of the expansion parts you wish to include. In short the scoring is what is scripted for every asset.
