RWBY Intro and Background Replacement

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO INTALL

1. Go to https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GOzZZsrp2qET_Ez9TLKEuipgf16CmRmE and download the files in the folder.
2. Then go to ThisPC/Windows(C:)/ProgramFiles(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Left4Dead2/left4dead2/media and replace the old files with the new ones.
3. Launch the game and everything should be applied immediately.

This "mod" replaces the Valve Opening with a Rooster Teeth Animation Intro, several menu backgrounds with RWBY openings, and the Left 4 Dead 2 opening with RWBY Volume 1's Opening. It doesn't really do much else but I find that this little change makes launching the game a little more fun, especially if you run other RWBY mods alongside this.

So the first five files in the google doc are of the openings? I don't know if the bottom two are required as well. I'm sorry I'm new to file changing and all of that and I don't wanna brick my game by mistake lol

The trailer background mod is up and running! Same install steps as this mod and works just as well. Hope you enjoy!

Oh. That's not a bad idea. I won't have time to work on something like that for a week or so but I can definitely do that! I'll put that on my to-do list and make it happen.

Nono, the 5 openings work just fine.
I was talking about the 4 color trailers, Red, White, Black and Yellow ;P

Strange. Well, I have a simple fix. The names of the files ( l4d2_background## ) are listed in order of the series' openings. For example: Volume One's opening is l4d2_background01. If you change the names of the files in a separate folder and replace the video in the game files, you should get the opening you want to see.

So, for example, let's say you want RWBY Volume One's opening to be the first background you see. Identify which trailer is playing instead, copy Volume One to another folder and match the name of the video you want to replace, then just replace it. If this doesn't work, feel free to let me know and I'll work up another fix for you.

Weird, I managed to get all the intros to play, though I didn't see any of the trailers.

All the trailers are actually in the game files I provided. According to the testing I did, depending on what levels you last played, the background will change to the trailer corresponding that level. I don't know which ones are which per say, but I've gotten Volume 5 and Volume 3's openings during my playtime.

That's really cool, although the music looping ends up being a little annoying when sitting on lobbies. Nice job tho :D

Would it be possible to do one with volume 1 opening and the 4 trailers?
