Askeladd, the forsaken

One day, while having a drink in the bar at the Hub, you overhear some drunks talking about a foreign once mighty warrior, now fallen from grace.

"Askeladd", they called him. A foreign name in these lands.
They joke about heading to go out and look for this Askeladd themselves and claim his bounty. Apparently all sorts of big-shots want his head, and offer big money for it.
They laugh to the idea that the last thing that they would see would be his legendary sword decending upon them, if they tried.

You don't know what it was about this man, but your interest had peaked. Whether it was the bounty money, or the desire for a new weapon, or maybe even just the thrill of crossing swords with this mysterious man, you wanted to find him yourself.
