this works really well. the key is to wait some time. if you come back to the screen 5 minutes later your station figured it out and is looking to the sun.

That fixed the deathspin my station was on :)
Thank you very much.

Any chance you know how to stop this script from running? I tried adding "off" to the argument in the programmable block, but it does nothing.
Thanks in advance.

...and the wierd part...had to start the world over (cause I got stupid) but have same ship, same script, but different panel layout (although all in the same plane as before) and it works fine. Thanks..:)

I put this in my ship and it just spins...figured maybe because gyros have different alignments with respect to each other, so turned off all but one, same thing. Removed it and aligned it with the panels to match the video...same thing.

agh ok

If your construction can be managed by Gyros - yes. An example . At now on a planet good to be use windmils.

does this work for a solar array on a planet will it follow it?
Cruel Sun  [author] 14 Mar, 2019 @ 5:11am
I think, it can be a inertia issue. Also I think solar panels is not effective for so huge grid. Anyway if you share a blueprint, I can help.
