Again, thanks a lot! I hope youre still making maps (will check the underwater one, very curious about it) good work!
You can download any of my stuff here, its probably easier:
https://mega . nz/#F!uqhEnIID!wAcknR0rSqcv9mu_dzbMOA
Just remove the spaces between the dot, steam blocks the link if i post it normally.
The water not getting light it is hard to say without seeing the map, maybe its your display settings in the actor, if the water is in the skybox the light must be done there in the skybox.
Yes I figured meanwhile that its just the bottom of the skybox, kinda tweaked a bit and it looks ok with default water, at least i could find only from the freightyard one. My problem is mostly that light isnt touching it, the water is the same lit, even with a sun shining down.
I will take a look at your maps for that, but I cannot download them, subscribing seem not to get the map in the kf folder at all, it says downloading but nothing appears, not even when i try to host solo game, any idea?
Keep in mind you can always increase the fluid surface info size by using display>drawscale or using Fluidsurfaceinfo>fluidgridspacing inside the actor, regardless of the fluidXsize and fluidYsize.
The water materials just look to some of my maps, you can use them.
JungleHold, HoldorDrownRebirth, Tibet, LavaDoom, Concentrate, Ankira, Alien Island, Smuggler, WaterFlows, Face3, LRV349, HoldorDrown, SpaceColony and maybe some more all have water materials.
Did you use the fluid info actor and which texture?
What about the performance? Since the max size is 255 of the fluid info actor, how'd you mange to make it crossing the entire map without copy pasting each of the planes? Thanks!
