The Dragon's Fury fires a ball of flame instead of spraying flames. A little more aim is required to effectively use this weapon over other flamethrowers. The upside is how quickly you can melt enemies. Using it in conjunction with a flare gun can kill most light classes in 3 seconds. The big downside is the airblast. Putting out your enemies with the manmelter might be a good option if you can't bare the 1.5 second recharge when using airblast with the Dragon's Fury.

This set is very useful on CTF maps as it allows you to cap the intel quite quickly. The set consists of the Dragon's Fury, the Thermal Thruster, and the Powerjack. Grabbing the intel and blasting your enemies feels quite nice with this set.

Spychecking is not very easy with the Dragon's Fury. However once the mole is alight it's a great choice for melting. Using the Scorch Shot for spy sniffing is a must, and a Homewrecker works wonders on those pesky sappers.

The Dragon's Fury does a tick of afterburn to fellow Pyros, so killing them with it shouldn't be too difficult. A shotgun pairs nicely with the Dragon's Fury to finish off the runners. The Backscratcher helps if there are no Medics around, allowing you to grab 132 hp from a medium med kit.
