Description

This mod changes the encounter map spawning settings to enable resources to spawn again. Now you can setup temporary mining camps again at resource nodes and pick up a small amount of resources on the way back home with caravans.

This mod is included in [FSF] FrozenSnowFox Tweaks.

Oh, so that's why they're incompatible with each other now. I was struggling to understand why my modlist was suddenly throwing errors about that after a restart.

This mod is now included in Better Exploration Loot. So if you have that then you can disable this mod.

It's a custom Harpy race. The wings are from Big and Small Genes, they're Fluffy Angel Wings.

My mistake, thanks for the response, I wrongly thought that ores spawned on all maps in 1.6.

The same as it always has. It enables mining resources on encounter maps. In 1.6 I believe this applies to the maps generated when your caravan gets ambushed and when you set up a camp. I only tested with the 1.6 patch to make sure it was still necessary. I haven't really tested the nomadic resources option on storytellers but I believe its only for home maps which are generated when you settle a tile or land a gravship there.

I'm afraid that's kind of out of scope of this mod and it's not really something I'm interested in doing for a mod at this time.

I did have a look at the files though and it looks like if you added <li>ScatterShrines</li> to the Encounter genstep then they should spawn. I don't see anything that affects the odds though so that's probably hardcoded and it'd be the same sort of odds as base maps. The location of the files is below if you want to take a look.
