You did a stellar job with this and I'm glad I played it. And I admire your dedication to the joke of it all. Residents indeed...
This is so good! Short, but very fun and charming! I got to talk, I got to fight, I got to solve problems in multiple ways.
Let it be known that as long as you know what you're doing, any build works here; I played a Geo/Pyro caster and got by entirely on potions and kiting with Haste. Yes, I played on Tactician, and no, I didn't take Lone Wolf. Fights and resources are just that balanced, kiddos. It's a masterpiece.
So I first saw this advertised I guess on the new mods link for the Workshop under my Library page. I saw the name "Residents Evil" and being a huge fan of the OG games I of course had to click on it and check it out. I was glad to see it was a story-custom adventure mod that take place completely seperate from the main game and I had been hoping to find stuff like this cause I'm waiting for friends to buy the game so I can finally really get into the main story coop. I haven't seen many of these custom adventure stories so I'm not sure if there is a lot out there but this is a great start to them and I can't wait to see what else comes out.
Great work!
Light-hearted well written story, adequately challenging fights and good quest design. Quite a lot of custom scripting involved too. It shows that you have a great understanding of the engine. Only minor flaw is that it seems you didn't render your characters' portraits to show up correctly.
