Where can I get enclosures?
You may buy enclosures in the shop. With each new user level, further options and kinds of enclosures will be available. Most enclosures will cost you zoo dollars, but there are also some that you'll get in exchange for diamonds. This icon will get you to the enclosure shop:

How can I build enclosures?
Simply choose the enclosure you wish to place in your zoo from your inventory or via the card overview on the bottom of the screen and place it at a fitting place in your zoo.

Enclosures should always be placed next to a path or be connected to paths after having been placed, as otherwise the visitors won't be able to reach them. If you place them too far off, your visitors won't get much enjoyment from them and thus won't be very happy either.

Also mind that employees won't be able to reach enclosures that are too far away from a path!

How can I move and turn enclosures?
Simply click on an enclosure and a circular menu will open.

The button with the two arrows (top right hand side) will allow you to turn your enclosure, the button with the four arrows will move it. Clicking on the box with the red arrow above it will remove the entire enclosure and all animals and items will be put into your inventory.

With the button under the description you can move the whole enclosure into a different zoo (for example, Zoo D'Amour).
How many animals may I place in one enclosure?
Animals need space to feel at home and happy in their enclosure, which is why you won't be able to place an unlimited amount of animals in one enclosure. You can see how many fields an animal needs inside the shop via the green symbol with the number on it:

You'll also be able to see how much space an enclosure offers via the same symbol.

If you don't have any more space and want to place an animal in an enclosure, the game will tell you to either build a new enclosure or expand the already existing one.

How can I expand/beautify my enclosure?
To expand the enclosure you will need to buy the expansion in the enclosure's respective category inside the shop. Select the extension from your card overview, then click on the enclosure you want to enlarge. Do the same to put further items in your enclosure, such as feeding/watering troughs or habitations.

How can I (re)move enclosure items?
You may not move the enclosure items from one enclosure to another or remove them once thy are placed. There is, however, a small trick:

Remove the entire enclosure and everything placed in it will be removed to your inventory. This allows you to rebuild everything as you like it.

What are items to beautify the enclosure good for?
Placing further items in your enclosures will get you bonus-experience points on usage as well as an increase of your breeding chances. They'll also attract more visitors and will make your animals feel happier.

You can get the following items:

  • Watering Trough
--> tends to all animals in the enclosure at the same time and will get you extra experience points
  • Feeding Trough
--> feeds all animals in the enclosure at the same time and will get you extra experience points
  • Play Equipment
--> entertains all animals in the enclosure at the same time and will get you extra experience points
  • Watering Hole
--> increases the chances of successful breeding by 5 percent
  • Habitation
--> increases the chances of successful breeding by further 10 percent

You may refill the troughs and equipment with diamonds, too, and gain further experience points when they are used. Click on the enclosure to do so and select the refill button with the small diamond. When your animals are tended to the next time you will get the extra points.

Why are there different kinds of enclosures?
Your animals only feel at home in specific enclosures, you won't be able to place them in others.

Example: The turtle likes grass-, forest-, and jungle-enclosures. You won't be able to place it in a rock or ice enclosure, though.

Mind that the enclosures that are more tailored to a specific animal species and that are of higher value will increase your animals' popularity. A turtle placed in a jungle enclosure is more popular than if placed in a grassland enclosure therefore.

The game features the following kinds of enclosures:

  • Grassland Enclosure
  • Forest Enclosure
  • Rock Enclosure
  • Savanna Enclosure
  • Jungle Enclosure
  • Ice Enclosure
  • Water Enclosure

I placed my animals in higher level enclosures but still have fewer visitors?
Technically that's possible, yes.

The higher value enclosure will increase the number of possible visitors. But it will also increase your visitors' demands, as these aren't met yet if you didn't build any new garbage cans, shops, etc. to accommodate also the newly coming visitors yet.

If you, for instance, re-allocate your panthers, then check your visitors' needs a few minutes afterwards and check the numbers again. You can also check your visitors' level of satisfaction in your Zoo Overview.
