There is a problem with the signal near MP 658. When you leave Guiluly Loop, you receive an "Advance Approach" (flashing yellow) signal, which means the next signal should be an "Apporach" (solid yellow). Instead, the next signal (near MP 658) was actually a "Stop & Proceed" (solid red with number board), which caught me off guard. After throwing the train into emergency, I checked the map and the Amtrak train was two signals ahead of me. Thus, there should've been no reason for the "Stop" signal. The same signal was also displaying a "Clear" (green) signal while my train was still occupying the block. It should've turned red as soon as my engine passed the signal. Instead, it went from red to green.

It's probably a route issue, and not a scenario issue, but I thought I would let you know. Other than that, another great scenario!

though u suggested to keep a track of the train ahead in the map, i just wanted the challenge to not look ahead but time the signals. for green signal was running on the speed limit. for flashing yellow 5mph less than the limit and solid yellow 10mph. this way was getting solid yellows till i was about 3 miles from Summit. then had all green.. wished this scenario could have continued beyond summit.. would have been interesting one t0 see how it panned out.. really made me feel like a real loco engineer as it felt like a real life scenario what with the traffic ahead... i rank this scenario way up there (next to Golden yard from Canadian Mountain pass; which i said was your best work i had come across) just for giving real life like experience. wow i have gone off a tangent and a rant.:steamhappy:

Looks at first glance a deceptively simple one. didnt have any prob with starting on the gradient. no rollbacks. increased power to 25% and then released the train brake. the best part of this scenario was to follow the train which had already crossed ahead of us.
