Description
EvorA is a COOP CTI game mode derived from the “Evolution Red” type missions in ArmA 2. While this mission can be played in single player or from a local host, it is recommended to host EvorA from a dedicated server. The mission is incredibly optimized for both clients and servers, allowing most players to have an above-average performance.

The objective of the mission is to clear a number of heavily guarded objectives in sequence. A radio tower is also present in each objective which must be destroyed to stop enemy reinforcements. Enemies become harder the further in the mission, so solid teamwork may be required to complete to complete the mission.

Neutralizing enemies, destroying radio towers, and clearing objectives rewards score. This score can be used to unlock better equipment, purchase vehicles, and recruit AI. While you start off with only a few bases, you can build more using a special vehicle. You may also get the opportunity to capture airfields that allow you to deploy fixed-wing assets.

Custom systems, unique to EvorA, allow you to edit the loadout of any aircraft configured for it, and gives active protection systems to certain armored vehicles.

Finishing or restarting the mission resets your progress. However, each session plays differently due to thorough randomization. There is no grinding, no leaderboards, and no databases in EvorA.

Interesting! I've neglected to play that campaign. It's good to know there is a lore reason for it. Far too often the reason is "I didn't feel like it". I did some playtesting with one of my players last night and he was very impressed. Far more impressive in my eye is that I don't have a single bug to report. Which is completely astounding. Good work!

Thanks for the feedback Mayrose!

The reason all the CSAT stuff is present near the base is because of the story from the Tanks DLC. In the final mission you play as AAF defending Feres airfield from NATO forces, where CSAT forces/scientists are scrambling to evacuate.

This mission implicitly follows an AAF victory, after which they strike back at NATO presence on Altis.

Got some nitpicks. This is all I could find to gripe about in less than 30 minute of wandering around the start area. Which is unusual, and quite promising. And it is quite heartening to see missions being made that don't have NATO as the player faction. I might have more to report later but for now these minor nitpicks and a couple requests are all I have to mention.

most of the base areas outside of the bunker have CSAT camo nets. The really should be replaced with AAF nets. The Taru pods could possibly be replaced with Huron boxes as their appearence is less faction specific/more generic.

The flags on/around the lab dome across from the bunker are CSAT flags and should be changed.

The Tempest at the base should be a AAF Zamak.

Possibly change the Qilin to an FIA offroad? DELETE CSAT!!! :p

Replace the Angara wreck with the Nyx wreck.

Even less important stuff

Would be cool to see the AKM in the free arsenal

Make the Starter pistol free? It's pretty useless to begin with.

Man, respet for the map. So enjoyable. But as others said: can be added save feature? Cause starting all over with randomization is a bit annoying.

Could you make a similar save system like liberation has? Persistent. Because it is really annoying to restart every time.

Sorta bummed at first when I saw there was no way to save, but its so much more fun starting out gettting your ass kicked and eventually having the gear to do the ass kicking.

Rock solid mod with a huge amount of dev time. Easy as hell for noobs or vets to get stuck into. If you want an intro to online arma 3, or just want to have a blast with friends tearing it up, jump on in. You won't be disappointed.

This mission is a CTI mission designed to be similar to evo red back in the day of arma 2. Or to use something more known a Domination esque mission with the goal of capturing the Island. Against Nato forces in this version as the AAF

what exactly is this?
