Update 6/6/18 - In the coversion from steel (Nomad-ST) to combat armor (Nomad-XT) I missed converting thin blocks leaving mainly the area by the rear hangar ceiling and the cockpit cage made of steel. Sorry about that. It has now been corrected and is combat steel. Also I added an extra front door guard ramp from a suggestion. The ship stats screen shots have been replaced with updated ones reflecting these changes. Thanks.

The Nomad-XT is a heavily modified version of the Nomad-ST. It is also 1 size class higher and much more expensive. Labelled as a starter CV, this is a bit expensive for that, but does unlock at player level 10 and requires small amounts of rare resouces. Switching the hull from steel (Nomad-ST) to combat armor caused the ship to barely move. I had to add a lot more trusters etc. to counter the weight. This required redesigning much of the ship to hold the large number of additional thrusters and other parts. In this process I also extended the length of the ship in the center by 3 blocks allowing for more space as well wided the body very slightly near the farm area to add more farm plots and keep a straight walk to the cockpit without grow plots in the way.

List of changes:

1. Hull converted to combat armor, front glass converted to armored glass
2. Ship is slightly longer with a larger hangar and landing pad
3. Farm has increased to 70 grow plots. Also, a straight line of site from the elevator to the cockpit
4. Hangar reconfigured. It now has 4 built in advanced constructors, and storage moved next to the constuctors
5. A great deal more thrusters and RCS units. I made recommened choice to add 2 advanced RCS as well. These help a great deal with ships maneuverability. However by doing this, the ship now requires a small amount of Zascosium and Erestrum.
6. Rebuilt a good portion of the ship to accomodate the added features
7. Added two more turret mount points bring it to 6 total with 360 degree coverage
8. Added a bed, bathroom, shower, and tv.
9. New paint job. It comes in a grey/white/black styling. (It does not come in orange :)
10. Added an experimental combat steel cage in front of the cockpit for added protection. This really does not obstruct the view flying in 1st person as it was aligned to the window seals.

Features:

- Hangar side crafting area with a lot of storage with 4 Adv Construstors
- 70 Grow Plot Farm
- All thrusters Exposed
- Sensor based automatic lights, ramps, and hangar door.
- Central Elevator gets you to all areas of the ship. Getting around is quick and easy
- Expanded hangar able to hold several HV/SV depending on size. It can hold any my HV/SV's
- Control switches for Thruster/RCS and Exterior Lights
- 6 Turret mount points(No Artillery) and 4 weapon mount points for Pulse Guns or Rocket launchers (Turrets and Guns not included)
- Decent sized top landing pad with roof access.
- Warp Core
- Compartmentalized O2
