MP4 Update: Shadows have been recalculated and the course had to be revalidated. The custom music is now properly set up to include locators, so it should automatically download now. No other changes were made.

Now that that's out of the way, here's what it is. Mario Kart: Double Dash!! was a game that I had growing up, and it is probably responsible in some part to my enjoyment of racing games in general. Of course, one reason it was fun was that the courses were well designed. So, to honour one of the most fun games of my childhood, I decided to try and remake my favorite map from the game (because that hasn't been done before at all :$ ) Seriously though, it was fun to try and make this course.

Overall I tried to stay as true to the original design as possible, but I did take some artistic license in the course design and scenery. I'd probably recommend trying it only for the sake of nostalgia; don't expect it to be a good map by TrackMania standards.

Also, I tried adding custom music, but I have no idea if it actually worked (this is my first time trying that out). Please tell me if you get some good old Mario Kart music while playing; if you don't, I obviously need to do some research.

So put on your nostalgia goggles and break out your gamecube remotes, because here's my take on Waluigi Stadium from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
