Game:
DEATHWING is a mod for the PC to replace Left 4 Dead 2. It is a cooperative FPS where the objective is to reach the end of each level with as many men as you started.

Start the campaign by selecting your armaments carefully. You have a choice between standard firearms, where ammunition is finite but range is safer, or melee weapons, the up close and personal approach that will never leave you empty handed.

You face an abomination that can only be purged by brute force. Board the space derelict, remove its inhabitants, and discover its true purpose.

Running the single player game :
-At the L4D2 menu, go into console using the "`" key (tilde). If this is not enabled, go into your options and enable developer console.
-Type in the console "sv_consistency 0" with no qoutes.
-Type in the console "exec deathwing_coop" for cooperative or "exec deathwing_real" for Realism mode.
-Your game should begin.

Running a multiplayer game (Host):
-Ensure that your router is configured for Source games by following these instructions:

-Go to whatsmyip.com or related website to record your computers personal IP number.
-At the L4D2 menu, go into console using the "`" key (tilde).
-Type in the console "sv_consistency 0" with no qoutes.
-Type in the console "exec deathwing_coop" "exec deathwing_real" or "exec deathwing_versus"
-Your game should begin as a host.

Running a multiplayer game (Client):
-At the L4D2 menu, go into console using the "`" key (tilde).
-Get IP from Host
-Type in the console "sv_consistency 0" with no qoutes.
-Type in the console "connect (ip of host goes here)"

IF YOU SEE ANY NORMAL L4D2 INFECTED LIKE CHARGERS, JOCKEYS, ETC, THEN IT IS NOT BEING RUN CORRECTLY.


Major Bugs Known:
-Bots tend to murder themselves at the end of level 2. I gave up trying to find ways to protect them.
-Flamethrower only "mock" flame and only when button is released. Use like a molotov.
-Single Player mode through l4d2 menu doesnt load settings and other infected are present
-Some menu graphics missing
-Level 2 spawns bots in random places and sometimes with no low health.
