Description
Update:
4/12/2013
  • Changed extra hotkey layout to be switching with default hotkey bar.
  • Added hotkey for easy switch between bars
  • Adding toggable hotkey to switch buff display between default location and center of screen
  • Removed tooltip display of buff when displayed at center area.
  • Fixed problem with center buff display area blocking movement mouse clicks
  • Added HP/MP Bars!
  • Added toggable button to toggle hp/mp bars
  • Added HP/MP Low Warning System (When HP/MP is below 30%, icons will appear next to the HP/MP Bars)
4/11/2013
  • Added display of hp and mp related stats
  • Experimenting with buff.. moved it to the middle of the screen for easy viewing.. however the mouse over showing tooltip could be a problem during combat. Thinking about adding a toggable button that blocks mouseover tooltip

After messing around with the editor for a while and seeing all the awesome HUD UI mods out there, I decide to make my own.

This initial release features an extra hotkey bar.
2 Toggle buttons on the right of the bar allows you to hide the hotkey bar if you memorized all your shortcut keys, and hide the key description to prevent clutter.

I don't think I worded that well but.. just try it and see for yourself!

This mod also adds shortcut keys to the extra hotkeys, go to your key options and you should find that you can customize them to your satisfaction!

Future plans include:
  • Display of more info (Just like LurkersHUD) such as HP, HP Regen etc.
  • Toggable display of your characters health bar and mana bar near the middle of the screen so you can keep track of your hp and mp in the midst of battle

Mod Compatibility info:
This mod edits the following
  • hud.layout
  • quickkeys.dat
Therefore will not work well with other mods that edit the same files. Which includes most UI mods in the workshop.

Would it be possible to add a few things in from this mod?

http://www.runicgamesfansite.com/vbdownloads.php?do=download&downloadid=419

I like things from both but I can't choose which I should use, I want to use this one more but I feel it could be better if you added in the Max Monster & Player HP/MP data and whatnot from that mod and also the changes to the fame and xp bar ( LVXXX then XXX/XXX XP to next level and same with Fame bar etc.)

I'd do this myself if I knew how sadly I don't, but I just thought I'd put in this suggestion as I love both of these mods but they conflict so I can't choose which to use and I would pick yours if it had these few extra things added in.

I also have some helpful things that I learned that will help you. Take and find the logic group that has a bunch of drag and drop containers all linking to one menu widget, take all your new slots and drag them into the logic window and then copy the pattern you see all the others doing. This will allow you to assign spells on your alternate slots.

@Bandit sure no problem :)

Hi there jonjon, I have received requests to include your Quickslot toggle into my compilation pack, and would hope you don't mind me using a modified version. I spoke with salan about releasing a merged version and have gained his permission. Thanks :)

@Marie: I think the default key i set was N... but i'm not too sure.. if you go into hotkey settings you will find a entry called Switch Quick Slot.
I apoligize for the lack of clear instructions as a lot of stuff is still incomplete :P

quick question, how do I toggle the bars? should probably include this in the decription.
DimSumJon  [author] 17 Apr, 2013 @ 6:24pm
@Marie: Certainly. I'm planning to make a UI menu that allows you to toggle just about everything. But exams are coming up so I won't be able to do the update for a while..
