Alright, I think I figured it out. This works for windows 10 and I'm not sure if it'd work on an older version of windows.

Open File explorer
Go to SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>Left 4 Dead 2>left4dead2>addons.
Now you'll see a folder named 'workshop', right click it. Click 'properties' make sure 'Read Only' is selected. Go to the 'Security' tab, then click 'Authenticated Users'. Click 'Edit' and put a check mark on 'Deny' for 'Write'.

NOTICE: Apply and keep these settings once your load order is set the way you want it. Then, simply remove the checkmark on 'Deny' when you want to add more mods. Once you have downloaded the mods you wanted, just reapply the check mark.

**How do I adjust my load order?**
Just delete all your mods and download them again in the order you want them to be loaded in. (Mods on the top will load before the mods on the bottom)

I know this is annoying and complicated, but it works.

A big problem is the complications of permantly changing your load order. I'll let you know how to do it once I figure it out.

+404 Leader try Christinson's advice, I have struggled with getting this and some other scripts to work, though changing the order does seem to help *most* of the time.

For some scripts, it's important to have the script addon above your weapon model addons.

To any one who has subbed to this, can you let me know if it is working for you? For me, this and my M16 script do nothing in game, and I want to know if it is due to my bad scripting or just an issue on my side
