LoadManiac - New Loading Screens

Features:

- More fresh and higher quality loading screens.
- Steam workshop advertisements in the loadings to Valo City to help you find quality mods.

Idk if this is still alive but it would be very cool if you thought about adding back the classic loading screens for both used and new car dealership, the one that had both looking like cartoony and had the new car guy fat and a ciggar in his mouth and the used car dealer was skinny and weird lookin

I mixed shaders with ambient occlusion and photoshop to get the result ;)
I also used the HQ car pack DLC for the cars.

Hi, what mods did you use to get the screenshots of (what I assume to be) Valo in the loading screens? They look great!

Did you also start a new career? The IDs of the dealers' cars are saved, and the game will crash if it's unable to load the car from them.
The game's memory management is also imperfect, meaning that the game WILL crash after enough playtime, no matter if you have any mods or not.
With all the cars to load, you can see why the dealer could be a common breaking point for the engine.

Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\497180\1362267559
You can see all the files modified by this item;
The textures are of the same format and resolution as the originals (not that it matters very much), and if the non-texture files were to cause a crash, it would happen either on startup or on entering Valo, they have practically ZERO connection to anything related to dealers.

Again, did the game give you any error on crash? Check your game folder for a file named "error.log"!

i entirely reinstalled without car mods, i dont think much trace would have been left of that

There are a lot of problems for how the game handles the cars found in dealers, including crashes caused by removed car mods.
This mod only changes the loading screen textures there, which doesn't involve anything that may cause the game to crash.
Just as is the car selection, this happens randomly, and it's common for people to blame something completely unrelated when struck by this bad luck.
Check your error.log file - if you see any references to cars you may've added, please report them to the uploaders!

im positive it was this mod, removing it stopped the crashes when going to dealerships, after rigorous testing. now to fix the game crashing when going to valo-city at noon

I can guarantee you that it's not my mod that causes it. Are you certain it's not any of the other mods that causes it?
