Description

After reviewing Drakon-class combat reports, AES' Mark II Project Team noticed that while the compact destroyer proved extremely effective against large targets, its small size meant that its weapons were often heavily damaged after each battle. This incovenience often led commanders to choose the larger Trevita-class over even a group of Drakons. To bolster the smaller class's competitive value, the team produced the Drakon Mk. II with turret auto-repair, increased maneuverability, and a sporty new paint job.

Mk. I can be found here.

  • Dry Mass: 1,638,199kg
  • Environment: Vacuum
  • No mods/rotors/pistons; survival ready

  • 4 fixed forward-facing rocket launchers
  • 6 automated missile turrets
  • 6 automated gatling turrets (defensive)
  • 4 interior turrets (defensive)

  • 16 small reactors
  • 2 batteries

  • 6 small cargo containers
  • 3 oxygen tanks

  • 1 assembler
  • 2 arc furnaces
  • 2 cryo chambers

  • Standby System:
Sensor detects player presence and deactivates lights/gravity to conserve power when ship is unoccupied. Standby mode is also activated when all crew members take a seat, as sensors do not detect characters in cockpits. Unfortunately, there is no way around this.
  • Resource Management:
Ammunition, fuel, ice, etc. are automatically transferred and distributed between inventories as needed. Script by Sinus32, check it out here.
  • Repair Projector
Projects a hologram of the ship in line with the actual craft to facilitate repairs.
  • Turret Auto-Repair
Internal welders automatically repair turrets while under fire. System must be manually toggled on and off. Activation of the repair projector allows for weapons systems to be reconstructed on the spot.

  • 2 vanilla drives
