Accurate Wehrmacht Insignia

Description
A mod made in the same vein as https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1180097093, except this one only modifies the three historically inaccurate rank insignias for German NCOs, not the rank names themselves (and therefore not messing with the game text files).

In keeping with DoI's aesthetic, the new UI icons for the ranks of Unteroffizier, Feldwebel and Oberfeldwebel correspond to the shoulder straps issued for each of these ranks in the German Army between 1940-1945, instead of the nonexistent NCO shoulder sleeve insignias (vanilla DoI), or their camouflage parka counterparts (see the mod referenced above).

NB
- All other rank insignias are unchanged (German or otherwise).
- This mod doesn't affect player models or textures.

Feldwebel and Oberfeldwebel are senior NCO ranks in the German Army ("senior" as in Unteroffiziere mit Portepee ), both having the modern day NATO rank code OR-6. Since they are OR-6 ranks, they are the equivalent of a Staff Sargeant in the US and a Sargeant in the UK. The SS equivalent to the military rank of Feldbwebel was Oberscharführer, while the rank of Oberfeldwebel coincided with that of Hauptscharführer in the SS.

Feldwebel was the equivalent to a Scharfuehrer, in English, it was the equivalent to a Serjeant.

So it this addon has it's own stripes & marks?
Glyptic  [author] 5 Apr, 2018 @ 12:40am
No, this is a different take on it. The mod linked in the description changes almost all the Wehrmacht insignias, and it utilizes the camouflage sleeve stripes that German officers wore in WW2.

This mod is an attempt at addressing the same issue in a different manner. I used to have the mod in the description installed, so I figured I'd give credit where it's due and included a link to it.

tl;dr
Try each mod seperately, then pick the one you like the most (you can't use both mods at the same time, as their files would conflict with each other).
