Bots mutator

Description
This mod will add bots to your game (both offline and online server).

To run this mod in solo, In main menu, bring down console by pressing tilde key and type in command:
Open KF-BioticsLab?Mutator=KF2Bots.KF2BotsMut

To run on server, you must add ?Mutator=KF2Bots.KF2BotsMut to commandline.

To change bot settings, (in server you must login as admin first) bring down console and type in command:
Mutate Help - Show list of bot commands.
Mutate SetNumBots <count> - Change number of bots that will spawn (on server it will be reduced by amount of human players).
Mutate SetMinBots <count> - For servers, minimum amount of bots that should always be present.
Mutate SetBotMinLv <lv> - Change bots perk minimum level.
Mutate SetBotMaxLv <lv> - Change bots perk maximum level.
Mutate SetBotChat <true/false> - Enable or disable bots ability for random chat.
Mutate SetBotChatWMin <count> - Set bots minimum word vocabulary before they can start to chat.
Mutate SetBotChatWMax <count> - Set bots maximum word vocabulary count they can keep track of.

the bots aren't dealing any melee damage to the zeds, not welding and not doing/following the objectives in objective mode

The bug is in ZedSpawner, it doesn't work with bots (from looking at the log). So I can't fix it from here.

please fix the compatibility issue with other mods. crashes the server

This works you guys, Its been updated and I'm here to tell you how to do it without the confusion. launch KF2, Put this in console without the comma at the end. Open KF-BioticsLab?Mutator=KF2Bots.KF2BotsMut, Game will start, Exit the game now. You will now see the kfbotsmut in your kf documents folder to customize. Your welcome.

Thanks to Tautvis i was able to figure it out. however I would like to make a second version for people who are not familiar with file surfing such as myself.


Open (File Explorer) > Documents > MyGames > KillingFloor2 > KFGame > Config > KFBotsMut

Once KFBotsMut is opened it should launch a notepad change the following options:

NumBots: Desired amount
MinimumBots:(Same as NumBots)

Hope this helps the less computer educated peeps.
