@abenji That is unless subsonic ammunition is used to get rid of the sonic boom. Not only that, but depending on the bullet and the length of the barrel the added length may not really increase the velocity a noticeable amount. There's a sweet spot and going over it only marginally increases the velocity. You are technically correct about it increasing the velocity but it wouldn't be worth mentioning on something like a sniper rifle with a full length barrel as the difference would be too small. Not necessarily applicable to this mod.

@abenji I know, but making the bullet drop harsher was better way to balance it because suppressors basically have no other drawbacks that wouldn't just make this a straight upgrade of the vanilla one.

Side note -- supressors actually increase muzzle velocity, meaning the bullet drop would be far shallower. This happens because the suppressor basically allocates more space for burning gases to propel the bullet.
