Rob Van Dam (No DLC)

Rob Van Dam first made a name for himself in the original ECW, and is the only wrestler to have held the WWE Championship, the ECW World Championship, and the TNA World Heavyweight Title.

RVD was a major part of Paul Heyman's ECW, and was one of, if not the most, popular wrestlers in the history of the promotion. He held the ECW World Television Championship for nearly two years starting in April 1998 until he vacated due to an injury.

When ECW closed, Van Dam came to WWF as part of the Invasion angle, joining with The Alliance. After Team WWF was victorious and The Alliance was disbanded, RVD stayed on the WWF roster as he was the WWF Hardcore Champion.

Over the next several years, RVD was mostly involved in Intercontinental Title feuds, and he has held the belt on six occassions. In 2005, Van Dam won the Money in the Bank contract, guaranteeing him a WWE Championship title shot at a time of his choosing. When ECW was brought back as a new brand, RVD was chosen by Heyman to lead the roster. He cashed in his contract for a match (in advance) at One Night Stand in 2006, and defeated John Cena for the WWE Title. Heyman then brought back the ECW World Championship for the ECW brand, and awarded the title to RVD.

When his WWE contract ended in 2007, RVD returned to the independent circuit for a few years before signing with TNA, where he would go on to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship as well as the X-Division title.

He returned to WWE briefly in 2013, and has been wrestling for multiple promotions around the world since leaving again in 2014.
