It's Not As Easy As It Looks

Description
A highly secretive and ambitious experiment involving the upper female temporal lobe, the lower female lateral fissure, Radon, a Neurosurgeon named Marshall, Thermal Discouragement Beams, and sandwiches. It is not as easy as it looks; but it's still not that hard. What that means, is that what looks like a quick way to beat the level early on is a trick and made to not work.
100% solvable (Really; I put this here because I ALWAYS playtest my levels, for bugs and other issues, but mainly to reinforce that it is possible) No ninja skills or intense timing required, if executed as intended. Press F6 to quick save. Please post any and all of your thoughts and criticisms in the comments below, and thank you for testing.

Got the check mark by the exit to light up, but the door didn't open, Not sure if I did it wrong or if it's a bug. I tried it with both lasers (one in the separate room and the one above the elevator). Also tried the buttons along with the laser. No worky. It was fun, but the exit never opened.
