Enchantable Armor Rating

Description
This addon allows Experts in Alteration to craft Mage Armor necklaces, which can be disenchanted to learn the Armor enchant which you can place onto boots, shield, amulet, or ring.

The enchants go onto the same locations as Resist enchants. A 100 in Enchanting will give you 100 armor per enchant. You must have 75 or greater Alteration to be able to craft the necklace, so you in essence have to "do your time" casting armor spells before you can qualify. The ingredients are the same as a regular gemmed silver necklace with the addition of an Ebonyflesh Spell Tome.

As mages are not likely to be using shields, you will max out at 300 armor just from enchants, which is still far from the physical damage reduction cap, making the armor spells still useful in tough situations. Non-mages, on the other hand, can sacrifice enchanting slots for armor as an alternative to smithing armor if they so choose, but they give up other potentially useful enchants.

A different solution for the tediousness of recasting armor spells can be found at my other addon, Maintained Armor Spells:

You will only see it if your Alteration is high enough.

It's possible you have a conflicting mod, last time I used this it worked like it does in the picture where it's only "Increase armor rating by x points." Although I haven't loaded this mod up in several versions I don't believe Bethesda would have changed a record that caused this mod to behave differently.

I'm confused. I got the necklace, disenchanted, and now have the enchantment, but when I use it, it tells me that it increases the armor rating by 0 for 2 seconds, or something like that. i thought maybe it would change once applied, but it doesn't. Why do I want an armor enhancement of 0?

Any possibility of getting a lower level of this enchant. I am a mage and want the mage armor, but don't invest much in Alteration magic. Also, don't want a broken version of freely enchanting so I would love to see an Oakflesh level of this with requirement of maybe 25 Alteration instead of 75.
