Marius Keep - A Home in Falkreath

Description
A tower keep located on an overlook just south of Falkreath with crafting facilities (all of them), storage, bookshelves, mannequins, weapons racks and weapon plaques.

Marius Keep is a gloomy tower home. Good for people who want something that isn't too luxurious, but has everything they would need with a rustic decor. Perhaps you want a home in Falkreath now that you're a Thane, or maybe you would like a hold near Skyrim's largest graveyard. Whatever your reason, Marius Keep awaits.

I should also mention, the smelter and tanning rack are accessible only from -outside- the tower. If you're facing the entrance, there is a semi-hidden stairway just to the left of the tower that will bring you up to them.

As with most mods, please let me know if there are any problems or suggestions. Giving a thumbs up rating if you enjoy your new home would be appreciated, too.

Releases:
V 1.0
- Initial release.

V 1.1
- Fixed problem where tower was invisible if fast traveled to.
- Added a chest to the smithing room.

V 1.2
- Fixed and cleaned up the NavMesh.

V 1.3
- Fixed issue where followers would not follow player into home.
- Further cleaned up NavMesh outside tower.

V 1.4
- Final Navmesh fix to outside tower. (NPCs can get up to smelter more easily now.)
- Removed unneeded collision boxes from top shelf of left bookcase. (That vase should stop bouncing around now.)

V 1.5
- Added some decorative touches.

V 1.5a
- Got rid of torchbugs, which were... multiplying more than expected. You may still have some in your house, but if you catch them they won't be coming back. Sorry about that.

V 1.5b
- Tweaked lighting to increase performance.

Known Issues:
- Rarely the mannequins will... move a bit when no one is looking. (Don't. Blink.) They revert to their original position if you add or remove something from their inventory.

I like this place a lot! Simple and dark. Any chance you can get this into the Skyrim Special Edition?

Since its named Marius you should do more to make it Vampire themed like Marius from the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice who did have a big castle

Much appreciate the home in Falkreath...it makes my....activities....easier to co-ordinate.
Haven't seen the moving mannequin yet, but I figure a set of randomly shifting mannequins would just make the manor that much more creepy :)

3) upper tower area would be for sleeping and more storage and display for the "really good stuff" or whatever you can think of.
So far this is a really cool all purpose home that isn't crazy big but has some presence to it.
Rated Thumbs up and i'll be tracking this mod. Thanks for the hard work.

Great Atmosphere. other then the smelter and tanner locations I like how containers are nearby and you don't have to really move from the crafting station to put in or take out supplies. As for a rustic place you hit the nail on the head. It's creepy and practical enough for any character, mage, assassin, thief or warrior.
For some suggestions:
1) put a satchel or two by the alchemy station for more storage.
2) To make more room for the Enchanting area I would move it to the current bedroom area and have some displays/mannequins for showing off the cool stuff. Alchemy and cooking area belong together and won't feel so cramped. In the "new" enchanting area put the ladder for the upper tower.

That's strange winterfell, as I had that problem before but fixed it and haven't seen it since. I've been using this mod myself to be on the lookout for any bugs and I haven't seen the tower fail to render since 1.1.

from the outside, a large part of the "Tower" doesn't render.. its just invisible. From outside I can see the smelter and stuff just floating in mid air. Strange right? Anyways a bit too laggy for me, gotta unsubscribe! nice idea though!

Okla: I did, actually. From the outside doesn't work because it's filled with mountain. From inside I don't have a good place to put a ladder, and when it comes to it I don't know what I'd put up there anyway. I thought of maybe some sort of treasure room but didn't think it matched the character of the rest of the mod.
