Episode 11: Ride of the Val Kilmers

It's mostly jump drives with guns. I lost count after a while. Fully loaded with the Black Mambazo and some smaller ships in tow Wagner can still jump 22,000km at a time (I think, I was drinking during flight tests because I'm a professional). He's also got 5 large reactors and a hydrogen plant for refueling the Courier and whatever else we come up with.

Of course I crammed a medical suite and cryos and 4 large cargo containers in there and I even built a bridge even though I planned us really to only ever remote operate Wagner from our connected ships.

The thing is that building from a projection carries the risk of missing blocks, especially when the thing you're building is a kilometer long, so when we saw that we were missing a couple dozen blocks, we had a choice: Tear the thing apart, or nanites. Nanites won.

There's something about nanites, a dozen ships, 4 bases on 4 planets, multiple solar arrays and 2-4 scripts running on everything we built that makes the sim speed tank. I'm walking through mashed potatoes trying to figure out why.
