Firing rate could be ever so slightly increased. Perhaps make the laser a little thinner, again, ever so slightly.
I think all thats left to improve is the shading on the weapon. Not too much a fan of the white streaks down the center of the weapon, as its inconsistant with the rest of the weapon.
It might just be your style, but a brush style brush looks a little bit better in game than a pencil brush, only because it adds a little bit of the same kind of shading the devs used.
Not that there is anything wrong with using your own style, by all means in fact.
Some basic shading on the weapon and it will look tops man.
