Description
Read me. No, seriously!
In order for this savegame to work on your computer you will need:
  • At least 16-24gb of RAM to load all of the custom assets and mods. Using LoadingScreenMod is a good way to see how much RAM the assets require.

  • Subscribe to every mod/asset in the official collection and **ALL** of the linked collections listed at the bottom of that list.

  • You'll most likely need all of the listed DLCs to run the save exactly as I did, however, it's likely that the save will run without them, it'll probably break some things but nothing major. Just run it and see what happens!

  • To achieve the same look from my screenshots/videos you'll need to manually set the parameters for:
    - Ultimate EyeCandy
    - Relight
    - Roads United
    - Roads Color Changer ++
    I added screenshots of the settings into the gallery above, match your settings to those.


My savegame is all grey/missing all of the roads after loading
TL;DR: download this asset manually: https://cl.ly/3p1S1z3p1427/Seenu%20-%20Dirt%20Road.crp and copy it to:
%\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Assets

Long version: I created a custom muddy road and uploaded the exact same asset to the workshop, however, it seems the savegame is still looking for my original file (the one in the link) and if it can't find it it basically breaks everything.


I got "X" error and the savegame doesn't work, what can I do?
First make sure you meet the minimum RAM requirements listed above, then make sure you are subscribed to all of the assets/mods in all the collections (remember to enable them in the "Content Manager") and nothing else, meaning, unsub to anything that is not in those collections.
Finally, check that you have either the Snowfall and/or After Dark DLCs enabled.

I read this whole thing, tried everything and still doesn't work
Well, I'm not sure what to tell you. If you are trying to load the save months after I published it's possible the base game got updated and the save is no longer in working order.
If that's the case, there isn't much you can do.

Im I missing something is there another part of the collection for seenu that is just the mods or is that mods collection the correct one ?

It would be great if you can have a look to see what is going on with it as im quite keen to load up your save game so any clarity on whats going on would be fantastic thanks Strictoaster.

Hi Strictoaster,

This save game no longer loads i have subscribed to everything I removed all my own assets first and hit suscribe all then i made sure i have the other items that you have said were needed however it always fails.

Ive noticed that there is no mods collection that is just for Seenu however you have a collection at the bottom of the asset collection items for mods so I Subscribed to them however noticed a few in it are outdated. I have tried each way using what you have in that collection and then also taking out the outdated versions and using the new version however after playing with this for mmm quite some time i cant get the save game to load.

@99999gamer when you are about to share it from the Content Manager, look for a tiny "folder icon" over the thumbnail. It will reveal a folder with a PreviewImage.png, just replace it with whatever you want.

It's kinda a stupid question....how do you change the thumbnail of the save game? The thumbnail of the save game is a capscreen in game. How did you substitute the picture (bearing the word "SEENU official savegame") for the original thumbnail? Thanks a lot!

the only DLC that doesnt seem to matter is usually after dark as it loads fine for me, but i usually miss some of the roads and train connections, and the bike lane middle prop. :steamfacepalm:

half of my saved games that i have been downloading is not working because i am missing

the whol game us stuck just for one specific DLC ?
