"These bridges are made from natural light that I pump in from the surface. If you rubbed your cheek on one, it would be like standing outside with the sun shining on your face. It would also set your hair on fire, so don't actually do it."

Welcome to Sunburn, a medium-hard difficulty light bridge & repulsion gel puzzle, and my first Portal 2 map of 2018. This is probably my largest and most complex chamber yet, and has taken me the most time to plan and build. My goal was to create a chamber that was more intricate and requires several steps to complete, but still fun and challenging. I hope I've succeeded in that goal.

As a bonus, find the hidden Companion Cube and bring it to the exit.

UPDATE (02-23-18): Fixed exploit found by LB.

As always, feedback is appreciated! If you think you've found any exploits or unintended solutions, please let me know and I will fix them ASAP.

Very cool puzzle that took me quite a while to solve, partly because of what jandlml mentioned, and also because I discovered the method of getting onto the bridge without portals by accident. Eventually. Well done!

i actually had quite a bit of trouble with this map. looks like im the only one. not because of the puzzle. i knew what needed to be done. but because gel doesnt save on bridges i ended up having to go back and redu over and over some of the maneuvers like jumping up to the bridge i would hit the side ,rebound and end up hitting the fizzle wall. so then i would have to go back and do it all over again. i guess its just me. good map otherwise

Nice work! I liked how the elements interacted with each other, though I think there was an opportunity where you could've used them together more. Still, awesome job!

Great puzzle and very clever use of the two elements.

Tough one. Took awhile to solve. I was afraid of the large jump across the water. It is makeable, but barely...
