8v1 even Zoltans can stomp mantis.
Same goes for charging ftl aswell as for enemies. Just have to be in the room. This also proofs problematic, if you hack helm, they try to jump away, and the pilot fights the doors to get out of helm, meanwhile ftl is still charging..
As with any strategy, the enemy will always prioritise shields.
so if you have 2 boarders in shields and 1-2 more in clonebay, respawned enemies will imediatly leave the room to protect shields, while you continue to beat on the clonebay system.
On the 2v1 situation I might add that you don't have to send your almost dead crew out of the room, just switch positions with the healtier one so he can keep dealing damage across the room.
JIC this is accomplished by sending both crew out of the room and back inside in reversed order (unless the system is in any other corner than top left...).
