Known as one of the most legit catch-style wrestlers ever to lace up the boots, British-born and Billy Riley's Snake Pit trained, Billy Robinson was a major star in Europe, the Americas (mainly AWA & Montreal), and Japan. He was the first gaijin ace for a Japanese promotion in IWE, had classic matches against Antonio Inoki, Giant Baba, and Jumbo Tsuruta (among others), and later trained shoot wrestlers like Kasushi Sakuraba and Masahito Kakihara in the UWF "Snakepit."
