This mod adds R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) and 3 out of 4 members of the Fighting Alloy Team from Super Smash Bros Brawl as playable characters in multiplayer. These are ports of the ones I made for Serious Sam 3, just bundled together and updated to work with Fusion. Compatible with The First Encounter, The Second Encounter, and Serious Sam 3 modes, and in theory should work for VR players.

As before, R.O.B. is based off of his Super Smash Brothers Brawl incarnation with some Smash 4 sounds thrown in and uses 100% custom animations, while the Fighting Alloys have modified voices based off of the characters they fought like in Brawl. This doesn't include Green Alloy because it would require a major amount of reanimating.

Credit goes to Nintendo for the original models, textures, and sounds.

Notes:
-On R.O.B., certain model attachments (such as the Sirian Bracelet and Jetpack) will not properly update their positions and models when either just starting the game, or switching to/from any of the R.O.B. models. This will only properly update after you die and respawn. I've already reported this bug (Bug #28842), but that was more than 4 years ago at this point (maybe in Fusion postrelease).

-The Invisibility powerup in Versus doesn't work very well for the Alloys due to their orb effects not being hidden by it.

-There are some rendering glitches with the orb effects for the Alloys. For instance, certain dirt patches in the levels will be rendered over top of the effects.

Recent Changes:
-R.O.B. should now be able to climb ladders
-Fixed a problem where Red and Yellow Alloys wouldn't load in BFE due to mislocated files
-Added Dynamic Bone support to Blue Alloy's hair bit
-Added R.O.B.'s jump sound script to a number of custom gametitles

Blender is your go-to for things like animation importing. It's been a while since I've done it (for an unrelated thing), but Blender can export animation data via FBX (or AAF, if you can find the exporter), which the editor can then import. Just a matter of getting the animations applied to your model in Blender so they can be exported.

I see. Well you did a really good job on animating ROB, his animations look very close to his brawl animations. And I asked this because Serious Norbo is working on a jet set radio player model pack for fusion, and I want to see if they could be custom animated. I actually have the animation files from Jet set radio future (via from the Gmod addon thanks to the OP for that mod) and I wonder if those can be imported to the serious editor?

And that’s understandable. Serious Sam modding as a whole has been on a decline recently it seems. Not many mods get published anymore that often.

I animated him entirely through the game's editor. There's probably more efficient ways to do it, but the editor is what I know.

No idea on porting them to SS4. I have a different model I want to finish up for SS4 before any others, but I haven't been terribly motivated to work on anything Serious Sam-related recently.

Hey can you please tell me what you used to give ROB his custom animations? It's rare to see player models with custom animations like this.

Amazing. Will you ever port these guys to SS4?

Update: Fixed Red and Yellow alloys not loading in SS3. Sorry for the delay on that.

The yellow alloy has trouble loading for me
