Intelligent and Sensational! One of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots (and use his wife's undergarments as a mask)♥♥♥♥♥♥Beyer wrestled for years in California and the AWA, and became a Japanese household name from his major feud in the JWA against Rikidozan (resulting in a TV-viewing record that still hasn't been broken in Japan) and later his 6 year contract with Giant Baba and AJPW, unheard of for a gaijin. He was extremely entertaining in the ring and out, starred on a Japanese sketch comedy show akin to "Laugh In," and invented the Figure 4 Leglock that uses a spinning toehold for a set-up. In addition to his feuds in Japan against Rikidozan and Baba, he also had a much loved series of matches against Mil Mascaras, and regularly teamed with Baba and Jumbo Tsuruta to face off against heel gaijin.
