Mercedes Lewis or as sometimes known simply as Mercy Lewis is a semi-retired female wrestler, who made her debut in 2003 in IWF. She found fame alongside her future husband and longtime friend Trent Helms in the group Project Mayhem. She found her earliest form of success defeating former IWF Undisputed Champion Alex Dunvegan, which would also debut the birth of her greatest weapon (The Brass Knuckles) which would lead her to success later in her career. She married Trent in 2004 and became more of a secondary character and off-screen talent for the many promotions she worked for. She is best known for her time in NCW where she was the first woman to wrestle in the promotion. However a affair ended her time in the promotion.

Her and Trent later became friends later on in 2011 and she returned to NCW. After months of failure and sporidic apperances, When Trent found a new love interest in Ashlee Stevens, Mercedes turned her attention to her. The two women hatred boiled over, but not before somehow managing to win the NCW Starlet's Tag Team Titles together. Somehow the two kept managing to co-exist until both were forced to give up the titles to battle Starlet's Champion Kelly Knite to unify the titles. Ashlee ended up winning.

Early in her career, she wrestled a more fast paced, High Flying style that matched her then husbands, but she didn't find much success, Bittered and scorned, She adapted a more ruthless attitude and ring style, Preferring to use Strikes, Brawling and biatant cheating. Mercedes will scratch, claw and choke the life out of her opponent before looking to finish them off with the Downward Spiral (Cross-Rhodes). If for some reason they survive, That's when the most feared Right Hand in the entire Women's Wrestling World is usually unleashed.
