All religions have been set to allow_rivermovement=yes
It allows all Religious groups in Umbra Spherae to use the Suez Canal.
Which means all A.I. players across the map can (and do) access the Suez Canal.
Wars by sea are now possible anywhere on the (current) map.
Tested. Works fine.
If you dont want other religions / groups using the canal who should not have allow_rivermovement=yes just open this mod up and delete the religions text file.

Umbra Spherae`s two Ocean`s have been merged into one Ocean so you can sail from (for example) northern Europe into east Asia and vice-versa.
Tested. Works fine.
