Description
Nova Prospekt is at its knees. The combine have fled to City 17 to resume oppression orders on a larger scale. As a member of the Metropolice, you must join the effort in the cold war.

14/7/2024 - Major update! In preparation for launching this map for VR, I took the liberty to fix a number of bugs, improve some gameplay elements and add more props and NPC's to help flesh out the environment.

(Please take note of the HL2 message at the bottom)

This story takes place in the eyes of a metropolice during the City 17 rebellion. It looks at the other side of the chapter "Anticitizen One".

-Discover City 17 from various locations through the eyes of the enemy
-Lead a CP companion through the city
-Earn badges from performing your duties. CAUTION: Sharp edges.
-Experience the world through a story, not just through shooting

I have spent (around 6) months working on this map, likely due to over-ambition and under-planning. I have put much effort into this, so I hope that you enjoy it.

Please leave any comments of feedback - this is what helps me become a better map maker. I know of some possible issues, so if you encounter any, please let me know and I will try my best to troubleshoot.

NOTE: This map was designed to be played in Half-Life 2. Because of such, some issues occur with GMod (eg. Dying and starting at beginning, text clips on screen - these issues I do not think there is a solution for). By the smokestack on that rooftop, there's a rope that drops down the wall which you can use like a ladder. Don't worry, it's not you! There's been quite a bit of confusion with it, and although I did try to draw more attention to it with scenery items in the update, I understand it's still quite unclear.

If you have any mods installed, please make sure they are all disabled when playing through the map. It may likely be a mod that changes how NPC AI works.
