The Faceless Tower

Description
Aiming to create a rogue-lite type experience, The Faceless Tower provides an adventure where players go through different floors of a mysterious tower.

Each floor is based on a certain theme and will challenge players in different ways to test their skills to the fullest. You start of without any skills or gear, but will get a random set of starting equiment and some random starter skills.

To enable players to use skills from any tree they have to play the game using a special class called Adventurer. Each floor will grant more random skills, random gear, and dangerous bosses!

This project is currently under development and currently features the following:
2 (out of 10) base floors (will have bonus stages after later)
1 Custom Class (Adventurer)
18 Custom Weapons
10 Custom Pieces of Armour

IMPORTANT:
In order to play this mod properly, you *have* to choose Adventurer class during character creation. This class starts with proficiency in all skilltree's in order to enable the random-skill mechanic.

You also start with loremaster proficiency and a identifying-glass to be ably to identify rare+ level loot! (if you get lucky enough!)

Notes:
The game has been balanced for a party of 4 players, or alternatively 2 lone-wolves. Using any other amount of players might make the game (too) difficult.

If you have find any bugs, or have any other suggestions which might improve the project, please let me know!

I've only played a little but after beating the main game many times I was pretty desperate for something new (Don't have enough friends who play Div for GM mode) divinity. The concept is great and so far the only thing that's really messed me up are skills. I keep getting no skills/weapons that let me handle ranged threats or cleanse the cripple that literally every enemy so far has. I like it, my luck is just terrible I suppose.

really amazing concept and hope it gets worked on more. This is what the game needs!!

Great adventure. I'd love to see a solo version where you get a follower, because right now easiest setting is more or less a cakewalk, and classic seems the next best thing to impossible.

For future iterations, making the floors appear in a random order would be cool too, but there's no reason that needs to be a priority. Thanks for the game!

great work, just finished lvl7 floor 3 - is that where is ends? Random skills does mean we cant make our usual fav characters.. but thats life. Maybe i was lucky with loot but started getting very easy from ~ lvl 5. But 2 lonewolfs, lvl 20 warfare, found +20% crit 2hander- dmg 200+. Only found 1 warfare skillbook.. just luck i suppose. heaps of fun

Wanted to stop by and give my support for this project. I can see myself playing this for hours on end, although I'm a little disappointed that the floors aren't randomly generated.

Either way, I would love to see further development of this mod. I understand it's been a while since the last update and you may have lost interest, but I thought you should know this idea has a lot of potential.

I enjoy the design of the areas, dark and mysterious. Combat encounters are initially fine, but gets ridiculous soon, especially since your characters may not have CC skills to disable opponents.

However, I'm not a fan of the random skill mechanic. Depending on what you get, your character can either be extremely good, or downright useless. Plus, you may not get the skills needed to deal with certain encounters. Can you imagine what would happen if a character got Poison Dart, Contamination and Rain? In the first area, I found Infect, Haste, Soothing Cold and Incarnate, not exactly a good synergy... I would rather start with a custom preset.

In addition, why can't we backtrack at all? Also, everything at the merchant is not only expensive, but not worth buying at all. Without backtracking, there is no way to haul loot back to the merchant to sell.
