Bore Mine - Concealed Explosive Device

The bore mine is a simple construct designed by our wepons concept team. packed with explosives and proximity triggered this mine can cause a lot of damage to land based vehicles. simply drop it on the ground on its side press the button and the bore mine will do the rest. once activated the drill will run for a short duration digging the mine just under the surface then deactivates the drill and arms itself. the stock blueprint comes in the company colours but once painted to match the terrain it has been placed on it becomes difficult to spot from a cockpit. this version is ideal for creative fun and survival use. an automated mine layer is currently being develpoped for an auto setup of the bore mine.

Yeah I've played with air deployment, I have a video on my YouTube channel of a air drop demonstration. When I have some time I'll get it on the workshop. I also have a depth charge version that digs down to underground bases and creates satisfying destruction.

O it will also have you ever thought of an aerial deployment via a ship and parachute would help scatter them a lot faster.

Well the problem is the ore detector's range. Most ore spawns are farther than it can pick up.

I like the sound of that and can see your problem. How about a probe drone using laser antenna? Could be a small grid with a large grid ore detector.

I've developed an orbital drop auto-miner but haven't tested it because I need a long range resource probe and ore detectors don't have long enough range to useful.

Thank you, I've been playing with it for awhile now and felt it was as ready as could be. Currently working on a vanilla mine layer but seems easier using the build and repair mod.
