The Heart of Darkness

Description
A collage of works from the community I modded to suit my own dark desires with the von Carstein (and Vampire Counts) armies. This mod is purely graphical and in no way alters the game or its systems. The mod is themed in black and red, from every unit presented in the pictures to the UI itself.



CHANGES MADE:

- All generic vampire lords/heroes (and Legendary Lords) are themed in black/red/silver with custom unit cards and portholes.
- Black knights, Black knights with lances, Blood knights, and graveguard are themed in black/red/silver with custom unit cards.
- Vlad has black hair, is much larger in size, and has a custom sword.
- The entire vampire UI (for both von Carstien and Vampire Counts) is themed in red/black.




DISCLAIMER: this is my PERSONAL mod and is subject to being altered and changed. I am only sharing it with the community to allow others with similar taste to enjoy my work. I will not take requests for altering or changing this mod, so please refrain from asking. That being said, I hope you enjoy what i have so far :)

Hi Peter. As it seems like you won't port your mod to WH3, I wanna ask, if I can use the UI for a mod I'm working on. It's about Blood Dragons so the colours would fit very well. Really loved that UI in WH2 and would be honored. Thanks in advance! :D

Fantastic Mod! Im currently working on a Vlad-Reskin for WH3 myself, and to save a lot of time, I wanna ask you, if im allowed to use a few of your textures for vlads armour? No models, UI stuff or anything like that, just the textures because the colours really fit my desires. Thanks in advance!:steamhappy:

not currently. you can test it with other mods to see which works, but currently no plans to include future content. once WH3 is out and fully released (with all DLCs) ill do a finial update, but that is down the road. ill more than likely port it over to WH3 a month or so after release.

Love this mod! Have you thought about making it compatible with some of the other VC mods, for example the Character Pack?

@Un42n8 likely you are having a mod conflict. if you turn off all other mods except mine, im sure you will find his head is still there ;)

also i just checked in game. my game still has Vlad at an increased size. you might have a mod that is conflicting with mine (the file that determines character data including size)

you can test this by turning of various mods to find the culprit.
