Description
An unfinished Trainbuild switching map in the style of TF2 that people wanted me to upload. I was going to wait untill TP3, but for now we can betatest and stuff.

Requires Magnum's Trackpack and TF2.

Yeah, you've come a long way since then
I mainly said that since I thought i recognized some setpieces/industries from that map lol

In a manner of speaking, yes. This was my first even remotely finished Trainbuild map, and my first foray into using Hammer at all. You can actually see the first displacement I ever made (the coal pile) in the back. All my mapping projects came from a desire to bring dense switching operations to Garry's Mod, and this is where it all started. It's not a good map, but it was a good start.

Is this what eventually turned into wrefingley?

Sad that this map is the only one of its kind, I like it alot, but also cause of the tf2 map style, the only thing it still needs a turntable, but maybe it will come in the future.

Smaller maps have the opportunity to not only be made faster, and contain smaller file sizes, but they could be used as a learning experience, or have a lot of detail put into them that could never be accomplished with larger maps.
Either way, smaller maps are <in my opinion> better when learning a map editor (first one or new one), or just getting back into map-making, compared to larger maps that may take months, or even a year or two to complete, compared to the at most one month I can imagine that some small maps would take.

Probably. TP3 exists now, the potential is out there. Actually come to think of it, I was literally making something akin to this during the morning, but I doubt I'll finish it into a map. Nobody likes small maps, it seems. Still, an opportunity to learn I won't ignore.

Will you ever make a remastered version?

I actually don't have access to the .vmf anymore, I lost it in a HDD crash.

Can you make a public .vmf?
