With the new addition of sensors, it is now possible to make self righting hovercraft. They are still a little annoying to use but I am confident they will improve in the future :) For example you can't adjust the individual thruster gain when the sensors take over, which makes balancing an absolute nightmare.

THIS IS A BETA BRANCH VEHICLE!!!

Manual:

NOTE!! You might have to respawn it a couple of times. Sometimes it tends to start with uneven thrust which in turn flips it over.

When it spawns you might want to lightly tap W. This will ensure it doesn't hit its nose before it gets the chance to stabilize itself.

WASD manouvers the craft. The brake will invert if you go below 0 km/h (Not sure I can fix that :P)
C changes camera mode.
PgUp and PgDn reveals the rocket bays.
PgUp and PgDn in operation mode opens the doors.

If on flat ground it can achieve a speed of 1000 km/h before crashing and burning.
It does not like bumpy terrain.
Don't turn too quickly at speeds above 150 km/h
