For anyone who is looking for a mod updated for RimWorld 1.4 or 1.5 that does something similar, there is this:

Does this and more, good if you had a bunch of other mods for other ores. Updated to 1.4 :)

Can confirm that this works just fine in 1.4. Ignore the version warning.

Neceros has also stepped away from modding (they said so directly on their other mod pages).
