Description
A great, beautiful, agile beast, with a great advantage! You can actually use this hunk as a working helicopter, that can hover low to the ground. Puts in use custom landing gear, so you don't bust up your expensive equipment!
Also doesn't have the ugly-ish shielding.

Also, check out my MUCH MORE stable attack helicopter. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1252529046

Heya, I've created a better flying helo, with sadly inversed controls, but if you can get past that, it flies amazingly.

Ohai.:steammocking::steamhappy: Well, I've started curating a collection of the best flying VTOLs, choppers, etc, I can find on the Workshop. Aside from mine, most use the hover bug, as I suggested to you (take a look, and let me know if I'm missing any good-uns, with correct controls): http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1249182254

Holy shit, didn't realise who you were! Thanks man, if you want, go ahead and reoptimize it and send it to me. *finger guns*

Yeah, it flies OK. A bit stiff in it's orientation, of course.

I'd probably think about using the 'hover-bug' (a lifting hover plate pointed as a wheel's tire) to trigger ground driving control system, allowing fans to help turning. (Also add radar speedometer, etc.)

I'll have to give it a test flight some time to try it out. Looks like it would fly forwards pretty fast, and need a fair bit of feathering on the [Shift] button...? Plus fairly slow turning?

I've been getting into VTOLs the last couple days. Fancy trying out the one I adapted earlier, with non-inverted steering (and very fun manoeuvrability)?:steamhappy: Shameless plug: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1248651466

Sadly, turning is inverted like normal if you put 5-ways on the tail. Doesn't seem to bother me that much, after I got used to it. How does the design look to you? @ZeroGravitas.

Heh, nice use of Bumpers. Are the controls logical or is turning inverted?
