CNC Civs - The Allies

Description
Adds the Allies (Red Alert 2 iteration) into Civilization V as a playable Civilization, led by President Michael Dugan of the United States of America. The Allies' playstyle emphasizes making as many alliances as possible, as the Allies will receive additional Great People generation for each Declaration of Friendship they establish, as well as a +50% bonus to Food, Culture, and Faith from friendly or allied City-States. The friendlier the Allies are, the more alliances they will make, and the stronger they will become.


====!!!! IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTICE !!!!====
This mod requires the Brave New World expansion pack to work, and WILL NOT function properly without it. However, as with every other mod I have created, I have chosen not to modify the dependency setting to require Brave New World, so those that do not have it can use the mod as they please. However, the mod is almost guaranteed to be a horribly broken - but playable - mess without the second expansion pack, so if you do not have the Brave New World expansion pack, proceed into a game with this mod at your own risk.


====Unique Ability - The Allied Council====
The Allies will receive a +15% boost to Great People generation for every active Declaration of Friendship they have established, and a +50% boost to Food, Culture, and Faith yields from friendly or allied City-States. Note that each friend the Allies have will also receive the +15% boost to Great People generation.

====Unique Unit 1 - Mirage Tank====
The Mirage Tank is equipped with custom promotions designed to enhance its combat abilities in forested regions, turning it into a deadly hit-and-run vehicle that can be used to ambush and engage enemy forces moving through Allied-controlled forest regions. Does not replaces the Modern Armor it is based off of, allowing the Allies to still make use of a mainline force of battle tanks, and save Mirage Tanks for defensive battles. Requires 1 Aluminum.

====Unique Unit 2 - Harrier====
Replaces the Jet Fighter. The Harrier has been given the Air Siege 1 and Air Ambush 1 promotions, enhancing its close air support abilities against enemy cities and armored units, but it also no longer receives a bonus versus enemy aircraft. Because of this, the Harrier is more well-suited to supporting Allied forces on the ground, rather than intercepting and engaging enemy air forces.

Music tracks used:
The entire Red Alert 2 soundtrack, rather than just a single war and peace theme, has been used for the Allies. The track Jank has been used for the Dawn of Man audio, the track Industrofunk has been coded as the primary peace theme, and the track Blow it Up has been coded as the designated war theme.

None, thankfully!

Report any other issues you find here. Whether it's a game-breaking mod-related crash, or a simple typo in a Civilopedia entry, I want to know about it so I can fix it as soon as possible.

That doesn't mean I'm not allowed to make one of my own. I even talked with the makers of the other Red Alert 2 mods while developing these ones, and they offered some technical help and advice.

Hopefully, like what MooncatXVI in making all DiploResponses worth more than 100kb in his mods, I guess all C&C civ diploResponses will be originally based off of the Diplomacy XML in the Touhou - Eientei mod by Paul "Huitzil" Durant, with additions from the Hidamari mod.

Meanwhile, I believe the possible leader for China seemed to be Xi Jinping, since I forgot to determine who is the current leader. Sorry for the late note.

I'll be able to do that. I don't currently know how to make .lua script files, but I'll certainly be able to make China from C&C Generals, if that's what you're asking.

I believe the next C&C countries will be the People's Republic of China. Uighur_Caesar has failed to make the Deng Xiaoping mod, thus, I hope it is up to you to make. Unique units: Type 96 'Battlemaster' tank (uses the T-72 tank model), J-10 jet fighter, Special Economic Zone (stock exchange) and ZBD-97 IFV. Unique Ability: Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era
