How to easily find all the missing gearbits

Do you have maybe one or two gearbits missing and you are getting frustated about where they are after countless hours searching?
No more trouble, I have a solution for you.

All you have to do is to upload your save file to:

https://anishlr.github.io/HyperLightDrifterLocator/

These save files can be found in the following locations depending on your OS:

Linux - /home/[username]/.config/HyperLightDrifter
Mac - /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/com.HeartMachine.HyperLightDrifter
Windows - C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\HyperLightDrifter

After that check out the video links that tell you what you're missing!

do i need to clear my cache or something in between save file uploads? because its telling me i still haven't gotten a couple that I already have specifically two in the north and 3 or so in the east that I had already gotten when I went to go check. Besides that this is beyond the greatest guide ever <3

Doesn't always work properly. I am missing one key and one gearbit (the one behind the 16 key door). I have used two different gearbit/key locators and they both say I have 16 keys. Very frustrating.

Had two bits that were linked to bits I already found, however comments in the thread helped me out. Look below if you're getting the 9m or 12:28 video links.

I had failed to pick up only *one* again after being killed near the start of the game. I would have been searching everywhere... How... How was this made??
