Description
Well, this started with GLS Orion and ended with GLS Beta. Compared to the first generation, these ships have much longer range with their guns and were far less prone to accidental turret explosions. However, the gun control wasn't really good, you had to hold a locking button to keep the turret still while aiming, which can be a problem. Many of these ships were also able to spam shots which might be good to most people, but I personally found it annoying.
