The Boring Island

If you’re viewing this, you’re probably wondering about the title. Well, it does tell the truth – it’s not a very interesting map, I didn’t even intend to share it initially, but maybe someone will have a use of it. Why is it boring though? I wanted it to be suitable for building as there isn’t much land, so it’s mostly flat. I doesn’t have much deco either, I decided to go with a wild jungle look, and because of that all you see is trees. There are a few rocks in a few more interesting areas, and a small dormant volcano so I have space to put sewage in before I can afford something that doesn’t pollute water and make it look ugly. Overall it’s aesthetically similar to a map I shared ages ago, but more convenient to build.

As I said before, it’s almost completely covered with trees, so you won’t have trouble with that resource. I also placed some fertile land, but decided to not have ore and oil at all, however you can easily add it in game with the Extra Landscaping Tools mod if you want them.
The map also has all the possible connections.

Because of the trees it requires the Unlimited Trees mod; don’t worry about performance though, I didn’t overshoot the limit much, just enough to cover the area. The map also uses my custom theme.
